Step 6: Withdrawal Options

When you’re ready to take your funds out of a vault, Insomnia Protocol gives you flexible withdrawal choices. Here’s how it works:

1. Open the Withdraw Panel

   • Click the Withdraw button on the vault you’ve deposited in.

   • A window will appear showing your vault balance and withdrawal options.

2. Enter Amount

   • Type the number of vault tokens (shares) you want to withdraw.

   • You can also click MAX to withdraw everything.

3. Withdrawal Scenarios

   • After Lockup Period

     • If your lockup time has expired, you can withdraw your SOM without any penalty.

     • You’ll receive the full amount of SOM corresponding to your shares.

   • Early Exit

     • If you withdraw before the lockup ends, an early exit fee will apply.

     • The penalty portion is sent to the Treasury, and you receive the remaining balance.

   • Partial Withdrawal

     • You don’t have to withdraw everything at once.

     • You can redeem only part of your vault shares while the rest keeps earning points and yield.

4. Confirm Withdrawal

   • Review the estimated receive amount (after penalties, if any).

   • Click Withdraw and approve the transaction in your wallet.

5. Receive Your SOM

   • Once confirmed, SOM tokens will be transferred back to your wallet.

   • Your vault shares are burned, and you stop earning new points on the withdrawn amount.

✅ With these options, you can stay flexible: hold longer for maximum rewards, or exit early if you need liquidity.
