Step 3: Make Your Deposit

Once you’ve chosen the vault that fits your goals, it’s time to deposit your SOM tokens. Here’s how it works in simple steps:

1. Select Your Vault

   • On the Insomnia app, click the Deposit button on the vault you want to use.

2. Enter Deposit Amount

   • Type in the number of SOM tokens you want to deposit.

   • Make sure to leave a small amount of SOM in your wallet to cover gas fees.

3. Review the Terms

   • Check the vault details before confirming:

     • Lockup Time – how long your funds will be locked.

     • Estimated Points APR – expected rate of point rewards.

     • Early Exit Fee – penalty if you withdraw before the lock period ends.

4. Confirm the Transaction

   • Click Confirm Deposit in the app.

   • Approve the transaction in your wallet (e.g., MetaMask).

5. Wait for Confirmation

   • Once the transaction is confirmed on the blockchain, you’ll see your new Vault Balance on the interface.

   • You’ll also start earning airdrop points immediately.

✅ That’s it! Your SOM is now working for you — generating yield and farming points automatically in the background.
